border-box;\">与此同时，权威医学期刊《新英格兰医学杂志》（NEJM）近日发表的一篇论文提及美国第一例新型冠状病毒病例的完整病程。该论文提到，住院的第二天下午，患者腹部不适，晚上腹泻。\u003Cstrong style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">医生采集了患者的粪便样本，以及呼吸道样本和血清送检，结果粪便和呼吸道样本表现为2019-nCoV阳性，而血清仍为阴性。\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp style=\"white-space: normal;box-sizing: border-box;\">目前，新型冠状病毒是否能通过粪便传播尚未可知。不过，防患于未然。我们希望以史为鉴，通过回顾非典时期一起爆发式感染事件，为本次疫情的防控提供有价值的参考。\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fsection>\u003C\u002Fsection>\u003C\u002Fsection>\u003Csection style=\"color: rgb(88, border-box;\">其中，淘大花园是受SARS影响最大的社区之一，有超过300人感染，其中42人死亡，占香港报告的死亡人数的近20%。\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp style=\"white-space: normal;box-sizing: border-box;\">世界卫生组织（WHO）、香港特区政府，以及港大和港中文的研究者等等对此进行了分析。尽管这些调查或研究提出的假设，仅是试图解释淘大花园大面积感染的众多假设的一部分，其研究结果未有定论，\u003Cstrong style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">2003年3月14日，一位长期居住在深圳的33岁男士出现SARS症状。该男士经常去香港的淘大花园探望自己的弟弟，他患有慢性肾病，并在香港地区的威尔士王子医院接受治疗。2003年3月14日和19日，他两次探访在淘大花园E座7单元16层的弟弟。由于他有腹泻症状，在这两次探访中均使用了其弟弟所在公寓的卫生间。\u003Cstrong style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">数日后，他的弟弟、弟媳以及在威尔士王子医院照护他的两名护士相继感染上SARS。\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp style=\"white-space: normal;box-sizing: border-box;\">2003年3月24日，淘大花园社区的感染达到了峰值，随即稳步下降。香港地区的卫生部门对该地区进行了问卷调查，发现感染者除了常见的SARS症状外（如发热、寒颤和头疼），还有不少人出现了腹泻的症状，在所有病患中占66%。\u003Cstrong style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">问卷调查的结果显示，仅有4%的人有接触过SARS病人，8%的人在2003年3月17~23日之间到过大陆地区。\u003C\u002Fstrong>但截至到2003年4月15日，淘大花园共计竟有321人感染上SARS。该社区为何会爆发如此大规模的感染？WHO、香港特区政府以及港中文和港大的研究者给出了较为一致的结论：\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp style=\"white-space: normal;box-sizing: border-box;\">上述来自深圳的男士的出现，导致了第一波感染；而此后人传人（密切接触）、通过排污系统传染、公共设施的使用（如电梯和楼梯间）以及环境中病毒污染（environmental contamination）等因素则起到共同作用。\u003Cspan style=\"color: rgb(62, border-box;\">这些主干排污管会分成几路，分别连接到每家的抽水马桶、脸盆、浴缸和浴室地漏\u003C\u002Fstrong>。每一个卫生洁具都连接有一个U型集水管，以防止臭味、昆虫或老鼠通过排污管进入卫生间。为了发挥U型集水管的预防功能，其必须充分注水。然而，由于大多数家庭习惯于用拖把拖地，而不是用水冲洗浴室地面，导致部分地漏的U型集水管变干、无法正常工作。\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp style=\"white-space: normal;box-sizing: border-box;\">通过对淘大花园居民的访谈得知，他们经常抱怨会在卫生间闻到恶臭味，这意味着某些单元的U型集水管可能没有发挥应有的功能。\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp style=\"white-space: normal;box-sizing: border-box;\">科学家在E座某一单元进行的测试中，当打开浴室的排风扇时，浴室内产生负压，垂直排污总管中的空气可以通过地漏回流到该浴室中。假设回流过程中的空气包含排污总管中被污染的液滴，随后液滴被分散到浴室中，并被浴室的排风扇抽取到相邻单元之间的采光井。那么，被污染的液滴就可以通过敞开的窗户传播到邻近其它单元内。\u003Cbr style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">在港大进行的排水系统实验中，科学家们发现，当住户冲厕时，垂直排污管中的水力作用会产生大量气溶胶。按照这一假设，及相关实验的结果推测，当来自深圳的感染者在3月14日和19日因腹泻并冲马桶后，粪便中的病毒颗粒进入U型集水管，并在管道内形成气溶胶。\u003Cstrong style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\">当同一单元的其他住户使用卫生间风扇造成负压时（特别是当卫生间门关闭，或者公寓内大门和窗户紧闭时），污染的液滴吸进自己房间、上下楼邻居和邻近单元的住户中。\u003C\u002Fstrong>这可以用来解释E座7单元其他住户的感染情况，以及为何邻近单元的感染率较高的现象。\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp style=\"white-space: normal;box-sizing: border-box;\">当然这里必须注意的是，以上有关污水处理系统和排风系统的分析只适用于解释淘大花园部分住户感染的原因，人员之间的密切接触、公共设施的使用（如电梯、楼道、门把手）、环境中的病毒污染等也是重要的传播途径。\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp style=\"white-space: normal;box-sizing: border-box;\">在WHO、香港特区政府和相关科学家于淘大花园的调查结束后，香港特区政府公布了相关调查结果，并就其中涉及的问题提出了解决方案：\u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fsection>\u003Csection style=\"margin-top: 10px;margin-bottom: 10px;box-sizing: border-box;\"
